Pennsylvania Blvd Trail Cleanup
This hidden gem is in need of some serious TLC. Over the past couple of months, Move Lebo has been working to restore this trail for the community. We have BIG plans and need your help! Join us on April 12th for our first spring cleanup. Meet at the trailhead near the Poplar t-station.
It may be muddy so old boots/shoes are recommended. Please bring along any tools that might be helpful such as loppers, clippers, gloves, etc. We’ll end with a coffee at Needle and Bean.

The Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (SPC), along with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), Allegheny County, and the City of Pittsburgh, are furthering their commitment to ending traffic deaths and serious injuries on roads within Allegheny County through a new safety initiative called Vision Zero.
Vision Zero is a proven method of making streets safer. Its goal is to eliminate all fatal and serious injury traffic crashes. Endorsed by the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), funding has been allocated to more than 1,000 communities across all 50 states to develop Vision Zero programs.
Vision Zero is based on the Safe System Approach, which follows several guiding principles to provide a holistic safety approach for all forms of transportation. Vision Zero incorporates proactive, preventative improvements to roadway design and focuses on enhancing safety for all road users.
Vision Zero helps us identify problems and sets a path toward reducing the loss of precious lives and the associated costs to our communities.
This coordinated planning effort will result in a comprehensive Safety Action Plan for Allegheny County.

Holiday Light Bike Ride
SAVE THE DATE - 12/12/24 - HOLIDAY LIGHT BIKE RIDE
Come with us as we delight in holiday cheer! Light up your bike and join us for an evening ride as we explore Mt. Lebanon and take in the holiday lights. Candy canes & holiday hits will be provided! This ride is open to all ages and types of bikes. Please note that while we will select a safe route with minimal traffic and hills (exact location TBD), the roads will be open to cars. Proper bike lights, helmets & a familiarity of road riding rules are important. A prize for the most festive bike will be awarded!

Use the power of your voice & vote!
Locate your polling place here: https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov/Pages/PollingPlaceInfo.aspx.
Here is what to expect when you vote in person at your polling place on Election Day.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. Remember, if you are in line by 8 p.m., you can vote.
When you arrive, you will check in with the poll workers.
Then, you will either hand mark a paper ballot or cast your vote using a machine called a ballot marking device. Find a video demo of your county's voting system so you can be prepared.
SIDEWALK CLEANUP
Meet at the Mt. Lebanon Library at 9:30am outside the lower entrance on Castle Shannon Blvd.
Move Lebo is an action oriented advocacy group making our community a better place to live, one step at a time. Do you know of a sidewalk in need of some TLC? Submit it to our Report! page and we’ll add it to our list! Your input directs our work!
